Bay of Plenty have kept their play-off hopes alive in rugby's NPC, beating Northland 22-14 in Rotorua

The home side made a first half statement, with winger Peni Lasaqa scoring twice in the opening 23 minutes.

Northland second-five Blake Hohaia was sent to the sin bin for a dangerous clean out, but dotted down before half time, where Bay of Plenty led 10-7.

Second half tries to lock Manaaki Selby-Rickit and hooker Nathan Harris helped seal victory.
