Police are appealing for public help to find a man as part of their New Lynn homicide investigation, into the death of Robert James Hart last week

Police are appealing for public help to find a man as part of their New Lynn homicide investigation, into the death of Robert James Hart last week

Detective Inspector Kevin McNaughton says they're looking for 35-year-old Dylan James Mitchell Harris.

He is about 182 centimetres tall, medium build and has a full sleeve left arm tattoo on his left arm.

There is a warrant for his arrest.

Police say Harris has significant gang connections across the North Island.

McNaughton says he's considered dangerous and shouldn't be approached - anyone who sees him should immediately call 111.
