A new research team wants to ensure pancreatic cancer patients have a better quality of life

A new research team wants to ensure pancreatic cancer patients have a better quality of life

Palliative care doctor Amanda Landers is conducting a study to increase awareness of enzyme replacement therapy.

Pancreatic cancer affects food digestion and the body's ability to produce enzymes.

The replacement therapy helps alleviate negative symptoms.

Landers says people who take the enzyme medicine, call it their miracle tablet.

Anyone with pancreatic cancer can reach out to take part in the study.

She says they want to reach people who may not have heard of the medicine.
