According to New Zealand Winegrowers, consumption of local wine per capita has nose-dived from 15.2 litres a year to 9.6.
The average Kiwi now drinks one bottle of New Zealand wine per month.

She says these types of products are the way to go to get consumption back up.
The exception is Sauvignon Blanc, which is more than holding its own.
