New Zealanders can expect to keep dealing with supply chain issues next year

ASB's first Trade Disruptions Report, which looks at the impact of Covid-19 on supply chain and global trade, has found consumers will feel the impact of disruption well into next year.

ASB senior economist Mark Smith says it's consumers that are feeling it with goods shortages.

He says the only sector that's done well through this is the shipping companies, which are seeing soaring profitability, which will hopefully be used to boost capacity.
