A call for New Zealand to not forget children, when it comes to our Covid-19 response

A new study from health experts considers children have been partly "overlooked" in the pandemic, and what could be done to better shield them.
Lead author Otago University's Dr Amanda Kvalsvig says they've been invisible from the Covid strategy from the start.
She says although children have a lower risk of direct health impacts, the virus could still bring serious consequences.
She suggests all Covid policies should now be evaluated against the impacts on our younger population.
