A 12-year-old boy's been charged with the murder of a Northland man in September

62-year-old Okaihau man Michael John Biggins was found in a vehicle crashed in a paddock off Imms Road ... and died at the scene.

A 15-year-old is already before the courts charged with his murder.

Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Dalzell says the 12-year-old is jointly charged.

He's expected to appear in the Kaikohe Youth Court today.
