Jimmy Anderson refuses to play the blame game after England were once again let down by their batsmen in the Ashes against Australia

Jimmy Anderson refuses to play the blame game after England were once again let down by their batsmen in the Ashes against Australia

England had clawed their way back into the contest after being rolled for 185 in the first innings with Anderson taking four wickets to help restrict the hosts to 267.

But all that hard work was undone inside the last hour on day two as England capitulated to 31 for four in their second innings to trail by 51 runs.

Anderson says while it's disappointing the batsmen are doing everything they can to turn their fortunes around.
