It brings the total to just over 900 thousand -- 54 percent of the eligible population.

New Zealand registered 23 community cases today -- 11 in Auckland, eight in Lakes, two in Hawke's Bay and one each in Waikato and Nelson-Marlborough.

Nelson-Marlborough has another eight cases, and Hawke's Bay one ... which will be in tomorrow's numbers.
