A man accused of a fatal stabbing on Auckland's North Shore last month can now be named as Chao Chen

The 31--year-old Castor Bay carpenter has been in custody since January 12, after a 35-year-old man was found critically wounded in Albany.
The wounded man died on the way to hospital.
During his first court appearance, at North Shore District Court, Chen was granted interim name suppression because his family overseas hasn't yet learned of the arrest.
