Research shows many Kiwis are suffering burnout - and don't even realise

Research shows many Kiwis are suffering burnout - and don't even realise

An Auckland University of Technology survey shows 35 percent of people were suffering symptoms of burnout and exhaustion - but only four percent put themselves in that category.

Professor Jarrod Haar says burnout's grown steadily since the pandemic began, but many lack awareness of what it can do to them.

He says some people aren't good at picking up on whether they are suffering from it.
