A sombre mood has settled over New Zealand's southernmost community after a horror crash killed four teenage boys

A Ford Ranger ute and a concrete truck collided on Queens Drive in Invercargill shortly before 4pm on Friday.
Bluff 16-year-olds Konnor Steele, Indaka Rouse and Kyah Kennedy all died at the scene.
With them was 17-year-old O Maruhuatau Tawhai from Invercargill.
Herald reporter Tom Dillane says a constant trickle of visitors came and went from the grieving families homes yesterday.
He says he spoke with Bluff Community Board chair Raymond Fife who attested to how close-knit the community is.
