New Zealand Post is warning customers to expect some delays

New Zealand Post is warning customers to expect some delays

Chief Operating Officer Brendon Main says delays will only impact items delivered by posties via the company's fleet of mail buggies - not courier items or rural delivery.

All the vehicles are being temporarily removed to be checked and will return to service progressively over the next couple of days.

Posties in some locations will use bicycles, e-bikes or walk where possible.

They're estimating delays of about one to three days.
