    A sudden spike in car thefts since February is triggering calls for Wellingtonians to up their security


    Police say Mazda Demios, Nissan Tiidas and Mazda Atenzas are the most commonly targeted models.

    Wellington District Prevention Manager Wade Jennings says people should take protective measures such as ensuring its locked and concealing valuable items.
