    A warning General Practices are already at capacity...as both Covid and the flu get set to strike


    The Director-General of Health says this Covid outbreak appears to have plateaued - but another surge could be imminent as case numbers climb.

    And now.. health authorities are bracing for flu infections at the same time.

    College of GPs Medical Director Dr Bryan Betty says there's lots of pressure on the system.

    He says over Covid some staff were re-deployed and if we see a surge in Covid and the flu -- then that may have to happen again.
