A season-saving victory for the Mainland Tactix, in netball's ANZ Premiership

A season-saving victory for the Mainland Tactix, in netball's ANZ Premiership

Sitting second-last before the game, the Christchurch based team needed to beat the visiting Southern Steel - but trailed early on.

At one point down by 7 goals, the Tactix roared home in the last quarter - the 5 goal turnaround crucial in their 61-56 win.

Captain Kimiora Poi told Sky Sport the crowd helped spark their fightback.

The Northern Stars will be looking to back up shortly, after also playing yesterday.

Following their win over the Waikato Bay of Plenty Magic, the Stars have travelled from Hamilton to Auckland to Wellington to take on the Central Pulse.

    That match starts shortly .
