Russian ace Daniil Medvedev is into the last 16 at the French Open after beating Serb Miomir Kecmanovic in straight sets

Medvedev has often said clay's not his best surface but it's the second year in a row he's reached the second week.

And so far he hasn't dropped a set in Paris... winning 6-2 6-4 6-2 today.

Fellow world number one Iga Swiatek is also into the fourth round... Marin Cilic has ended Gilles Simon's long run at Roland Garros - the French veteran, who's retiring, was no match for the Croatian, who won 6-love, 6-3, 6-2.

And New Zealand's Erin Routliffe and her Polish partner are through to the third round of the women's doubles in Paris.
