Ascertains supermarkets are already responding to measures to drive down prices

The Government's adopting a litany of recommendations by the Commerce Commission to improve competition in the sector.
It includes bringing in an industry regulator, a mandatory code of conduct and compulsory unit pricing.
Consumer Affairs Minister David Clark says supermarkets paid heed to the Commission report.
He says there's been a lot of noise about roll backs - but that's a short term solution - and they want to fix the longer term problem.
