    It's hoped officials will go to greater lengths to fulfil change in a controversial community on the West Coast


    Two of Gloriavale's most senior leaders Fervent Stedfast and Faithful Pilgrim have stepped down.

    Former Gloriavale member James Harrison says the Gloriavale Leaver's Support Trust has been onto government departments for years, asking them to step in.

    He says Gloriavale was good at pulling the wool over their eyes and showing them what they want to see.

    But Harrison says government departments have been told about things going wrong, and it seems as though they haven't listened.
