Fonterra has lifted its Farmgate Milk Price to a new record high

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
The range has risen 50 cents, to between 8-dollars-75 and 10-dollars-25 per kilogram of milk solids.

    The new midpoint is 9-dollars-50.

Chief Executive Miles Hurrell says the lift reflects the milk supply and demand picture, and the current strong US Dollar.

The co-op has also announced new earnings guidance of 30 to 45 cents per share.
