    The Newmarket Business Associations says the solution to the brazen smash and grab raids committed by young people is multi faceted


    Witnesses saw masked men commit a smash and grab robbery yesterday evening at Micheal Hill Jewellers at Westfield Newmarket mall.

    Chief Executive Mark Knoff -Thomas says the police aren't the solution to everything.

    He says we need to get to the root causes and then put in some solutions as soon as possble.
