Confidence the Government is doing enough to contain the first case of Monkeypox in New Zealand

A person in their 30s, living in Auckland, has the virus after returning from overseas.
There is no evidence of community spread, but a small number of contacts have been told watch for symptoms.
Otago University Professor of Public Health Michael Baker says the main challenge is recognising cases and managing their contacts.
He says we have the tools to fight it.
Baker says there are anti-virals and a vaccine available if needed.
