Villa Maria College has confirmed it's working with NZQA to investigate an NCEA level one religious studies external assessment, on the final day of term.
Our newsroom understands the issue arose after at least one class was told they could take photographed copies of a resource booklet into the exam, while others couldn't.
An NZQA spokesperson says the school approached the authority's breaches team, and is working with them.
But students who spoke to Newstalk ZB say they've heard nothing since being told of the investigation, and they're now worried they'll miss out on the six credits.
The college has been contacted for a response.
