Ko was five-under for the day with three to play before double-bogeying the 16th and bogeying the 18th.
She signed for a two-under 69, to be seven-under for the tournament and in a share of 11th, seven shots off Canada's Brooke Henderson who is three clear of American Nelly Korda.
