Hayden Wilde has appealed his controversial penalty that robbed him of a shot at gold in the men's triathlon

Wilde was given a ten second penalty for unclipping his helmet early during a transition.

He may have to wait thirty days to find out if he is upgraded to gold.



The men's sevens have come from 17 points down to beat Samoa 19-17 and keep an unbeaten day for both sevens teams at the Games.
