Former Tall Black Kirk Penney's on show in Auckland for a one night cameo in the New Zealand basketball league tonight

Former Tall Black Kirk Penney's on show in Auckland for a one night cameo in the New Zealand basketball league tonight

The 41-year-old's been called in as a replacement for the Tuatara in their final round robin match against the defending champion Wellington Saints.

Penney won't be eligible for the playoffs - the Tuatara already locked in for the post-season - so coach Aaron Young says it'll just be great to have the Kiwi great out there on court for them.

    Tip off's set for 7.30.
