    Support for new smart speed cameras that'll keep a closer eye on naughty drivers


    Waka Kotahi's installing new tech from next year, which will more accurately spot speeders and tailgaters.

    It will also be able to check whether people are wearing their seatbelts and staying off cellphones

    Road safety group Brake says it will make our roads safer.

    But Director Caroline Perry says other changes are still needed.

    She says we need to look at our speed limits - because some aren't appropriate for the road conditions.
