A special night for Pablo Matera and Argentina in Christchurch, knocking over the All Blacks for the first time on New Zealand soil

A special night for Pablo Matera and Argentina in Christchurch, knocking over the All Blacks for the first time on New Zealand soil

The 25-18 win was steered by the boot of right wing Emiliano Boffelli who kicked 20 points and had six successful penalties.

Matera - who spent this year's Super season with the Crusaders - says it's a dream result.

All Blacks coach Ian Foster understands there will be frustration at the result, following the Ellis Park triumph.

Australia beat South Africa 25-17 in the evening's other match, to sit second in the Rugby Championship behind Argentina.
