A Christchurch Brewery has won a World's Best Beer award - for the fourth year running

Cassels Milk Stout squeezed out global brands including Guinness at the awards, organised by a division of a UK Publishing conglomerate.

Cassels Head Brewer Simon Bretherton says the award is continued international recognition of their focus on producing great quality examples of key beer styles.

Cassels is a family-owned independent craft brewery in Woolston.
