Police are increasing patrols in a Christchurch suburb, after an attempted kidnapping

The hunt continues for the man who tried to drag away a woman in Fendalton early on Monday.

A video has been released of the man - and police would like to speak with anyone who recognises him or witnessed the offence.

A police spokesperson says they're following a number of enquiries - and checking up on information from the public.
