Kosta Barbarouses is expecting a seamless transition back into the Wellington Phoenix

Kosta Barbarouses is expecting a seamless transition back into the Wellington Phoenix

The forward has signed on for a third stint in Wellington after leaving Sydney FC on a free transfer.

The Nix open their A-League football season against Adelaide in Wellington this afternoon in their first season at home, after being based in Wollongong for the past two seasons.

Barbarouses says coach Ufuk Talay's shape is very similar to what he played in Sydney.

    Kick off's at 3 o'clock.
