Port of Tauranga is facing delays moving cargo up to Auckland

The port's received a large volume of unexpected import containers - which exceeds available rail capacity.
A spokesperson say teams are working with customers to prioritise urgent deliveries but will restrict imports if it becomes necessary.
They warn spikes in volumes are likely to continue - until all New Zealand ports are able to return to a reliable shipping schedule.
Retail New Zealand chief executive Greg Harford says thankfully most retailers expected delays - and ordered Christmas stock early.
The Government's asked the Productivity Commission to probe the resilience of the economy to supply chain disruptions.
