    Kiwi sailor Bex Hornell is bracing for a speedy edition to this year's Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race


    She'll be racing with British yacht Sunrise - one of the regatta's bigger boats - which is set to benefit from the favourable north-easterlies in the 630-nautical mile journey.

    Hornell says it's shaping as a race that could re-write the record books.



    The race gets underway in about an hour.
