    A person has been taken into police custody after the discovery of a woman's body in dunedin this morning


    A homicide investigation is underway after the woman was found dead at a house in Helensburgh Road in Wakari shortly before 3am.

    Police say they're not in a position to provide further details about the woman's identity, however, will look to do so in due course.
