The Black Caps have this year's Cricket World Cup in India in the back of their minds as they embark on their three-match one-day series with the hosts

Otago paceman Jacob Duffy and allrounder Mark Chapman have joined the New Zealand squad ahead of game one tonight in Hyderabad.

Tom Latham will skipper the series and says a key focus is getting the full squad familiarised with the surfaces which tend to skid on.
