The Cairns Taipans have kept the pressure on the Breakers to win their final Australian basketball league game to secure a home semifinal

The Cairns Taipans have kept the pressure on the Breakers to win their final Australian basketball league game to secure a home semifinal

The Taipans have beaten the Wildcats 84-71 to move back up to second.

Victory for the Breakers tonight against the Bullets would mean they move into the top two via points differential.

Meanwhile the Adelaide 36ers have kept their finals hopes alive with a 115-108 victory over the Sydney Kings.

The 36ers must beat Melbourne United on Sunday and need Sydney to beat Perth later in the day.
