A worldwide outage has seen many stores around the country unable to process Eftpos payments

Payment provider Windcave has been experiencing technical issues since this morning, which are causing intermittent blackouts.

All Briscoes stores have been affected, but payments are being processed with a delay.

One Herald reader reported that the Warehouse and Countdown in Westgate, are among those affected.
