Wellington Phoenix midfielder Ben Old admits it's been a turbulent journey back to his best after hernia surgery

The 20-year-old went under the knife at the end of last year before returning in February.

Old will suit up for this afternoon's A-League matchup with Sydney FC at Eden Park and says he's slowly coming right.

    Kick off's at 3pm.
