Train line services across Auckland are reduced today after a slip near a track in Parnell

Services will be down to one track between Britomart and Newmarket as urgent repairs get underway.

Buses will replace rail to reach Britomart from Newmarket, Panmure, Glen Innes and Otahuhu.

And after completed repairs, the Southern and Onehunga rail lines reopen today -- while the Eastern Line closes until early next year.
