    Police have acknowledged an IPCA report finding an officer's tasering a man in custody was unjustified


    A man was returned to Tauranga Police Station to wait trial in 2019 - and tasered after being restrained when he wouldn't cooperate.

    The officer was acquitted in July last year, and remains on restricted duties during an employment investigation.
