A jury has taken two and half hours to declare Aucklander Tyson Brown guilty of beating a two-year-old to death

Arapera Moana Aroha Fia was pronounced dead hours after being rushed to Starship Hospital from her home in Weymouth - in October 2021.
22-year-old Brown was charged with murder two weeks later.
He had an on-and-off relationship with the child's primary caregiver - who has name suppression while waiting sentencing for manslaughter.
Sentencing will be in May.
