    The South Island's combined women's side, Matatu, have clinched an amazing inaugural Super Rugby Aupiki title


    The underdogs came back a 19-nil deficit after as many minutes, to beat the previously-undefeated champions, the Chiefs Manawa, 33-31.

    It was an emotional result for Matatu midfielder Grace Brooker, who had to overcome a bad knee injury playing for the Black Ferns against England in November 2021 - only to miss out on World Cup selection.

    Brooker told Sky Sport how much today meant.
