    Shot putter Tom Walsh's cleared 22 metres for the second time this season - but has settled for silver behind world champion Ryan Crouser at the latest European meet in Ostrava


    The two-time Olympic bronze medallist threw 22.15 metres with his penultimate heave, 48 centimetres shy of the American world record holder.

    Walsh's season best of 22.22 metres came in Poland this month.
