The SPCA's launching a mobile desexing clinic -- with a goal of reducing pet overpopulation

A purpose-built vehicle offering desexing services for pets in need -- will travel to Northland reaching isolated and rural communities.
The clinic starts up in mid-September aiming to de-sex 500 animals.
National Desexing Programme Manager, Rebecca Dobson says they would like to take it further than just Northland.
She says the clinics depends on staff and funding, to take it further.
