A rogue pig on the loose for two weeks in Auckland is still evading capture

A rogue pig on the loose for two weeks in Auckland is still evading capture

The swine gave armed Police the slip just over a week ago, after sightings on State Highway 16's Te Atatu on-ramp.

Animal Management confirm they were called back to the scene when it returned this morning - spotted 'sunbathing' in a bush next to the motorway .

It had hoofed it by the time staff arrived.
