A sharp rise in how much cannabis is available - and a drop in price

Massey University's latest Drugs Trends Survey shows the mean price for an ounce dropped to 336 dollars by this February, from 368 in 2017 / 18.

Research Team leader, Associate Professor Chris Wilkins says several things may have made it easier to get.

He says that includes a change in Police enforcement strategies.

Wilkins says the Medicinal Cannabis Scheme has also come in, and attitudes have probably changed since the referendum last election.
