One of Wellington's premier food event's is kicking off

One of Wellington's premier food event's is kicking off

Burger Wellington sees restaurants from all over the capital serve up their most creative burger recipes for two weeks.

It's part of the wider Wellington on a Plate festival running this month.

The co owner of three Wellington venues, Maura Rigby says the event is huge for them.

She says it's turned August -- a traditionally quiet month -- into one of the busiest of the year.
