The first ever national strike from senior doctors and dentists is a reflection of the frustration

The first ever national strike from senior doctors and dentists is a reflection of the frustration

About 5000 members will strike in just over two weeks on September 5.

Association of Salaried Medical Specialists Executive Director Sarah Dalton says members want a raise to help staff keep up with inflation.

She says conditions are dire at the moment.

Dalton says members have suffered a cut in real wages and the sector is dealing with a big shortage.
