    Police are appealing for information after burglary spree in Hamilton overnight


    A group of offenders broke into a supermarket and a liquor store on Silverdale Road at around 3.55am - stealing tobacco, vape products and liquor.

    They fled in a Toyota Corolla and Nissan Tiida when Police arrived.

    Officers were later called to a ramraid at a motorcycle store on Te Rapa Straight at around 5.40am - a Mazda van was last seen heading west on Garnett Avenue.

    Police don't believe it's related to the earlier break in.

    They would like to hear from anyone who may have information, or CCTV footage.
