    Cryptosporidium  cases have jumped to 40 in Queenstown

    Cryptosporidium cases have jumped to 40 in Queenstown


    The tally of probable or investigated cases is sitting on 18 - and the source of the infection is still a mystery.

    Officials tell Newstalk ZB they're "actively" looking into why most confirmed cases are in 15-to-39-year olds.

    They're considering the possibility the outbreak comes from food or drink consumed by people in this age bracket.
